Senior Data Engineer

Job description
Join our dynamic team as a Data Engineer, working on a key Digital Transformation Program. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in Azure Databricks, Python, and SQL to help design and maintain efficient, scalable data solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize data pipelines in Azure Databricks using Python and SQL.

Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows in Azure Data Factory.

Apply Kimball dimensional modelling and Medallion architecture to structure data efficiently.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Git for seamless deployment.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop tailored data solutions.

Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are followed.


About You

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation.

Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.

Solid understanding of data modelling principles and scalable architecture.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
