Job Description: Assistant Fashion Designer

Responsibilities:

Assist the head fashion designer in conceptualizing and creating new designs for clothing collections (shirts, kurtis, co-ord sets, and more).

Research current fashion trends, fabrics, patterns, and color palettes to contribute innovative ideas.

Create sketches, illustrations, and CAD designs as per project requirements.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and timely execution of designs.

Assist in selecting fabrics, trims, and accessories to complement the designs.

Coordinate with tailors and pattern makers to ensure the designs align with technical specifications.

Maintain an organized design library, including mood boards, design references, and samples.

Contribute to photoshoots and marketing campaigns by providing styling ideas.

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.

Strong sketching and design skills with proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW).

Good knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction techniques.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Passion for fashion with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
