Nurse Clinical Specialist, Mark Sheldon Remote Mental Health Team

The clinician will undertake a consultation liaison/case management role in a multidisciplinary team utilising prior extensive experience in mental health community settings to conduct a range of assessments and provide therapeutic interventions and education on mental health issues to staff, clients and family members in remote settings. The role requires a strong cultural safety framework, a commitment to evidence-based practice and experience working as an autonomous practitioner. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term. One vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 18 months.
