Government Relations Officer

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Government Relations Officer to join our team at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. As a key member of our Community Affairs Unit, you will be responsible for:

Building and maintaining relationships with local elected officials, community boards, and stakeholders
Providing conceptual and grassroots-level support to programs by planning and executing community outreach plans
Attending community board meetings, town halls, and public meetings in response to day-to-day operations and public health emergencies
