Job Description

IMG is a privately owned, New Zealand heavy engineering company with over 20 years' experience in our sector. We deliver maintenance, capital project delivery, fabrication, specialist services and a range of innovative solutions to a wide variety of clients throughout the North Island. We are currently looking for a Part-Time (20h/week) IT Support/System Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain company systems, including managing Office 365 and Active Directory user accounts and permissions.
Manage company-wide connectivity in collaboration with NTT (managed network provider) across all branches, troubleshooting issues as required.
Liaise with external service suppliers for troubleshooting, system changes, and implementation activities when necessary.
Provide efficient remote and on-site support for company-wide IT requests, and proactively follow up on outstanding requests.
Conduct IT audits where required and assist with company system implementation and continuous improvement projects.
Assist with company digital improvement initiatives, such as digitalising forms and automating business processes.
Assist with system training and staff inductions. Develop and maintain IT training materials and documentation in Confluence.
Manage IT hardware assignment and lifecycle, including maintaining the IT asset register and inventory.
Purchase IT hardware as per approved requests. Manage IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding.
Install, configure, and maintain software on company equipment.
Role Details

Part-time role: 20 hours per week
5 hours per day, 4 days per week
Early start required: 7:00am – 12:00pm
To Be Considered for This Role, You Will Need

At least 2 years' experience in an IT Support or Systems Administrator role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with networking technologies (LAN, WAN) and VPNs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and environments.
Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps is advantageous but not essential.
Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
Positive can-do attitude, ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a strong customer service mindset
Eligibility Requirements

You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
The successful candidate must pass a drug and alcohol test.
