Overview
We are expanding again and seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT systems, networks, and hardware, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. As a Senior IT Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other IT staff to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
Document processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference.
Train and mentor junior IT staff on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection regulations.
Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects as needed.
Skills

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Proficiency in networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, ISC2) are preferred but not mandatory.
