Interior Design Internship

About the internship:
At Mr n Mrs Pet, we're India's largest pet-sourcing platform- connecting people with their perfect furry, feathery, or scaly companions. Our mission doesn't stop at pets; we're building workspaces that reflect creativity, comfort, and a whole lot of personality. If you've got an eye for design and a love for bringing spaces to life, we want you on board. We're looking for a creative and driven interior designer intern to help us transform our office spaces into functional, inspiring environments. You'll get hands-on experience with real-world design projects, from concept to execution. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong design sensibility and experience (even academic or project-based) in office interiors.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in planning and designing innovative office spaces

2. Create mood boards, color palettes, and design presentations

3. Choose materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories that align with project goals

4. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors

5. Prepare 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using design software

6. Ensure all designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with brand identity

7. Stay updated with trends in interior design and workspace innovation

Who can apply:

• are available for duration of 6 months
• have relevant skills and interests

Stipend:
INR ₹ 10,000 - 15,000 /month

Other Requirements:

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in interior design or a related field

2. Experience in office interior projects (college projects/internships count!)

3. Proficient in design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar

4. Excellent visualization and creative thinking skills

5. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of materials and color schemes

6. Good communication and teamwork abilities

MMP is India's first pet-sensitive end-to-end platform that educates a potential pet parent and aggregates all essential services from sourcing to caring for pets. We now work from the recently inaugurated Bhamashah Technohub, the buzzword in the startup circle.
