HVAC Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various industrial and commercial properties. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Candidates with experience in boiler systems, rooftop equipment, pumps, process systems or construction will be highly valued. A solid understanding of schematics and mechanical systems is essential for success in this position.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to system failures
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose problems
Conduct plumbing and welding tasks related to HVAC system installation or repair projects
Service boiler systems and other mechanical components associated with HVAC equipment
Perform maintenance on appliances and mechanical systems to ensure efficient operation
Assist with construction or renovation projects involving HVAC infrastructure
Document all work performed accurately in service reports and maintenance logs
Adhere to safety protocols during all phases of installation and repair work
Experience

Proven 5 years experience as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with a strong background in HVAC systems
Knowledge of boiler operation, rooftop package units, cooling systems and process systems is preferred
Familiarity with mechanical systems, schematics, and construction processes is highly desirable
Prior experience working with schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems
Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks on various mechanical components
Experience working in diverse environments such as industrial and commercial settings is a plus

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
