Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff and ensuring that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your leadership will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional experience for our guests, particularly in the hospitality and hotel sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning, custodial services, and a passion for maintaining a pristine environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to uphold quality standards in cleaning procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while meeting guest expectations.
Address any guest concerns or complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or facility.
Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance and supply usage.
Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is essential.
Familiarity with hotel operations and standards is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
