Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Cashier, located in Kolkata. The Head Cashier will be responsible for overseeing all cashier operations, ensuring the accuracy of transactions, handling customer inquiries and complaints, maintaining and balancing cash registers, and leading a team of cashiers. The role also includes training new staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing exceptional service to customers.

Qualifications
• Experience in cashier operations, transaction handling, and cash register balancing
• Leadership and team management skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software
• Ability to train new staff and ensure compliance with company policies
• Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance, business, or related field is beneficial
