Government Policy Specialist

The State Government Of Victoria, Australia is seeking a skilled Policy and Program Officer to join their team. This role will play a key part in supporting work to improve outcomes for Victorian women. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policy and implementing programs to drive cultural change and public sector leadership on gender equality, and strengthen women's health, wellbeing, economic equity, safety and access to leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong policy, analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment. Experience in program management and social policy will be highly regarded.

The role requires high levels of adaptability and resilience, and a commitment to contributing to a professional and supportive work environment. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate an understanding of government processes and can work in a complex, sensitive and fast-paced environment.
