Sandhu Road Trans is a Sydney-based logistics company specialising in concrete delivery and transport services across construction and civil infrastructure projects. With a growing fleet of heavy vehicles and a reputation for reliability and efficiency, we are committed to delivering timely, compliant, and cost-effective transport solutions. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to lead our fleet operations and ensure the continued excellence of our service delivery.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum

Role: Fleet Manager (Full time)

Location: Sydney, NSW

Main Duties:

Manage day-to-day operations of Sandhu Road Trans fleet of concrete delivery trucks across the Sydney metropolitan area. Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, logbooks, registration, and inspections to ensure fleet safety, roadworthiness, and regulatory compliance (NHVAS, CoR, fatigue management). Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and clients regarding delivery timelines, vehicle availability, and service expectations, ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely resolution of concerns. Implement operational strategies to optimise route planning, reduce fuel consumption, and minimise vehicle downtime using GPS tracking and telematics systems. Coordinate with mechanics and service providers for timely maintenance, repairs, and parts procurement. Train and supervise drivers on safety protocols, company procedures, fatigue management, and customer service standards. Monitor driver performance and ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and transport regulations. Maintain accurate operational records and generate fleet performance reports for management. Contribute to the continuous improvement of fleet systems, policies, and operational workflows.
Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fleet management or transport coordination, preferably within the logistics or construction sectors. Bachelor of Business Information System Management or related business/management degree. Practical experience and knowledge of concrete delivery operations. Proficient in GPS tracking, route optimisation tools, and vehicle telematics systems. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a proactive and safety-focused mindset. Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise drivers while fostering a high-performance culture. Strong communication and reporting skills with attention to detail and compliance.
