The Role and Opportunity

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide insightful financial advice and analysis, supporting AgResearch's leaders in achieving their strategic goals. You will work closely with diverse teams, using your financial expertise to guide decision-making and ensure the organisation's financial sustainability.

This position is a 10-month, full-time maternity cover role based in Lincoln. As Financial Business Partner, you will support the Business Planning & Performance Manager to develop and maintain the planning and performance finance function at AgResearch.

Your Key Responsibilities

Adapt costing and pricing processes as required, using or developing appropriate models and methodologies.
Facilitate costing and pricing processes, ensuring financial sustainability.
Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis and insights for science projects and other initiatives.
Develop and present operational reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist in preparing business cases for strategic investments and decisions.
Regularly review and enhance financial practices and system integrity.
Promote and uphold best practices in financial policy, processes, and systems.
