We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Farmhands to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:
The main duties will include general maintenance and support:

Performs general and routine tasks on the orchard, supporting overall crop production and maintenance.

Assists in cultivating and fertilising soil to prepare orchard blocks for planting.

Supports irrigation efforts by laying out hoses, checking for blockages or leaks, and manually watering designated areas.

Assist with spraying chemicals (under direction and with appropriate safety precautions) to help manage pests and plant diseases.

Transports tools, materials, and fertilisers to and from various blocks and work areas within the orchard.

Supports weed and pest control measures through manual clearing, mulching, and applying non-chemical deterrents as directed. Assisting with laying and removing weed matts.

Maintains cleanliness and order in work areas, including sheds, equipment rooms, and loading zones.

Operates basic farm equipment such as wheelbarrows, handheld tools, and occasionally light machinery under guidance.

Assists in erecting and maintaining orchard infrastructure including trellises, nets, and irrigation systems.

Carries out general labouring tasks as required to support orchard supervisors and orchard workers.


What We're Looking For:

Physically fit and willing to do hands-on outdoor work

Previous experience working in a similar role would be an advantage

Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Experience operating farm machinery (advantageous but not essential)

Positive attitude and good communication skills

Flexibility to work in the weekends

Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand

Pre-employment drug test and criminal record check required.

Valid Class 1 license required to commute to work sites
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly wage between $25 to $28 per hour

Friendly and inclusive work environment

Full-time, 30-40 hours work per week.
