DFAT is looking for curious problem-solvers with trade, engineering, electronics, radio frequency communications or science qualifications to undertake technical security roles. We have vacancies at APS4/5, APS6, and EL1 levels ranging from junior roles through to management positions.

As a Technical Security Officer working in the Technical Security, Safehand and Diplomatic Mail Section (TSS) the department will invest in your training and continuous professional development to equip you with the skills to conduct vulnerability inspections and counter technical threats against DFAT’s global network. Extensive travel is required and you will need to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Privileged Access (TSPA) clearance.
