Are you interested in teaching and facilitating professional development courses for Yukon’s Educational Assistants?
Yukon University is looking for qualified individuals, on a casual basis, to teach micro-courses for Education Assistants. Areas of emphasis may include:
The Role of Educational Assistants in Schools
Supporting Students with Complex Learning and Physical Needs
Strategies for Supporting the Learning of Students with Individualized Education Plans
Interprofessional Communications and Teamwork
The ideal candidate will have relevant education and/or experience teaching adult learners. Prior experience teaching in Yukon’s K-12 education system will be considered an asset.
