As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing students in the English language, both in written and verbal forms. Your primary objective will be to facilitate effective communication skills, grammar proficiency, vocabulary expansion, and literary appreciation among your students. You will engage with learners of various ages and proficiency levels, adapting your teaching methods to meet their individual needs. • Responsibilities: - Curriculum Development: Design and develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with established English language standards and learning objectives. - Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. - Language Proficiency: Assist students in improving their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English, utilizing appropriate teaching strategies and resources. - Grammar and Vocabulary: Teach grammar rules, syntax, and vocabulary expansion techniques through structured lessons, exercises, and activities. - Literature Studies: Introduce students to various literary genres, authors, and works of English literature, encouraging critical analysis, interpretation, and appreciation. - Language Fluency: Foster fluency and confidence in English communication through regular practice, conversation activities, and language immersion experiences. - Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. - Individualized Support: Offer personalized assistance and remediation to students who require additional help in mastering English language skills. - Technology Integration: Integrate educational technology tools and resources into instruction to enhance learning outcomes and student engagement. - Parent and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and relevant stakeholders regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for development. - Professional Development: Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in English language teaching through continuous professional development activities and training opportunities. • Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). - Teaching certification/license (if applicable). - Proven experience in teaching English as a second language (ESL) or English literature. - Strong command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and pronunciation. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. - Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools. - Cultural sensitivity and awareness in working with diverse student populations. - Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. - Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. • Working Conditions: - Work hours may vary, including evenings and weekends for extracurricular activities or tutoring sessions. - Classroom-based instruction with the possibility of virtual teaching in certain contexts. - Interaction with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators in a school or educational setting. • Salary and Benefits: - Salary range varies based on qualifications, experience, and location. - Benefits package typically includes health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and paid time off. • Salary: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Schedule: - Day shift Supplemental pay types: - Performance bonus • Education: - Bachelor's (preferred) • Experience: - Teaching: 1 year (preferred) - total work: 3 years (preferred) • Language: - English (preferred) Work Location: In person
