The Role
You will lead communication for the Australian Army from strategic planning through to execution of media engagement, social media and brand management.

Contribute to the delivery of Ministerial, whole-of-government and Defence objectives.

About this Role
Provide Strategic Communication advice to the Chief of Army.
Ensure strategic communication objectives serve the needs of Army and are integrated and consistent with Ministerial and Departmental priorities.
Lead the Army Media and Communication team of APS and ADF.
Engage with the strategic environment and priorities including comprehensive awareness of domestic, regional and global activities.
Apply high-level decision making and judgement to review, amend and clear Defence and Ministerial communication products.

The Strategic Communication Branch has multi-disciplinary communication teams embedded in Groups and Services across the Department.

About You
