Overview :

The Associate Data Scientist supports the development and implementation of data models, focusing on Machine Learning, under the supervision of more experienced scientists, contributing to the team’s innovative projects.

Job Description :
• Assist in the development of Machine Learning models and algorithms, contributing to the design and implementation of data-driven solutions.
• Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis, preparing datasets for modeling and supporting higher-level data science initiatives.
• Learn from and contribute to projects involving Deep Learning and General AI, gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of senior data scientists.
• Engage in continuous professional development, enhancing skills in Python, Machine Learning, and related areas through training and practical experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the effective implementation of data science solutions, participating in brainstorming sessions and project discussions.
• Support the documentation of methodologies and results, ensuring transparency and reproducibility of data science processes.

Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a strong interest in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI.
• Experience in a data science role, demonstrating practical experience and strong Python programming skills.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Engineering concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with data platforms such as Dataiku is a bonus.

Skills :
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning principles and practical experience in Python programming.
• Familiarity with data science and machine learning libraries in Python (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
• Eagerness to learn Deep Learning and General AI technologies, with a proactive approach to acquiring new knowledge and skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of tackling data-related challenges and deriving meaningful insights.
• Basic industry domain knowledge, with a willingness to deepen expertise and apply data science principles to solve real-world problems.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to discussions.

Job Role:-

Customer lead generation:
• Visiting customers and various transport hubs/cluster generating and publishing the potential sales lead classifying them as hot/warm/cold basis conversion time, customer need/wants.
• Conduct joint visits to market with franchisee/ representatives, carry out various fleet related marketing activities and coordinate in on ground activation.
• Customer conversion.
• Tracking customer churn and retention, conversion of customer currently fueling through competition in the trading area.
• Market intelligence, market benchmarking.
• Track various competition offerings, and benchmark it with respect to compnay for a particular trading area.
• Secondary sales increment through FP program.
• Monitor and track sales increment through FP program for the territory assigned.
• Document collection, customer handholding and service.
• Collect and maintain various documents for fleet from customer /retail outlets to handhold and train customer in using fleet plus program to be the first line of response in case of any fleet plus related query, should be able to analyze, resolve and instill basic hygiene of program usage to customer.
• Achieve volume and customer onboarding target (monthly/weekly).
• To achieve monthly weekly volume and customer onboarding targets assigned to territory.

KPI
• New customer acquisition.
• Lead generation/cold calling /customer visits.
• Volume increment through active customers.
• Volume increment through new customers

SKILLS:
• Sales and Negotiation.
• Strong understanding of transport and fleet operations/geography.
• Should have basic know how of MS office, basic excel(filter/formula/pivot)
• Strong interpersonal skills, versed in vernacular language.
• Team players should be able to do interdepartmental coordination.

PREFERENCE:
• Working as a direct sales agent in lubricant/tire/existing competition fleet program.

Qualification:
• Diploma/Graduation any stream
• Pre-requisites
• Should own
• Valid DL(2w)
• Should be able to send basic MIS through a computing device.
• Android smartphone

Qualifiers:
• No incentive and compensation would be paid if found the volume is achieved through fraudulent means/conversion/collusion.
• No incentive would be paid for related party transporters volume.

Salary Budget: Up to 25000 NTH PM + PF
