DevOps Expert for High-Performance Database Systems

Job Responsibilities
As a DevOps Expert for High-Performance Database Systems, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our database infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance database systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.

About the Job
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of platforms and services by applying software engineering principles to build and manage large-scale IT infrastructure products and services (both on-premises or in public cloud) optimizing services reliability, availability, capacity, and performance, and eliminating work through automation and software development.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling developers to easily build, test, and deploy their applications.
- Ensure IT infrastructure services reach and maintain the agreed service level indicators (SLIs), objectives (SLOs), agreements (SLAs) in compliance with QA requirements.
- Contribute to the maintenance of services once they are live by monitoring and resolving incidents/problems (including major ones) with platform operations, suggesting priorities and collaborating in the resolution when required.
- Implement cost, compliance, and security best practices, ensuring that platforms and services meet the corresponding requirements and ensures implemented solutions and components comply with Quality/Regulatory standards, as applicable.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with minimum Bachelor's; Master's preferred.
- Well-proven scripting and automation skills with strong knowledge in delivering and managing infrastructure as code. Stay at the forefront of advancements, implementing cutting-edge solutions to elevate our platform capabilities.
- Experience working with infrastructure systems internals, their availability, administration, configuration, and integration.
- Familiarity with Software Engineering and DevOps principles and automated testing and CI/CD tools.
- Preferred: Knowledge of agile methodologies and principles.
- Expertise in both on-premise and in public cloud databases with a preference in Open Source solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS Aurora), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, GraphDB, DocumentDB, Azure CosmosDB) as well as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle experience.
