Delivery Driver

R&J Batteries are one of the biggest battery and lubricant distributors across Australia and New Zealand. We’re a family-owned company and love what we do.

Our busy Wetherill Park Branch is looking for a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver!

You must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting (25kg+) while observing safe lifting practices.

Full training will be provided so you succeed in this role.

The main focus of this role includes:

Pick, pack and load orders into Company vehicle for deliveries
Multi-drop off deliveries to our customer base in a timely manner
General warehousing duties
Assist with other branch duties as required.
Offer courteous and friendly customer service at all times
Complete all delivery related paperwork including vehicle safety checklists
Checking, charging and fitting batteries (training provided)

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm (40 hours)

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Able to work independently and part of a team
Ability to match numbers and have good attention to detail.
Well presented, and enjoy being the face of the Company
Good knowledge of safe working practices including safe manual handling and are willing/able to do manual lifting and picking/packing orders 25kg +
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
