Job Title- dbCloudArchive Technical Data Analyst

Location- Pune, India

Role Description

dbCloudArchive is the Bank’s central archive with records from multiple areas across the Bank.  Collaborating with different teams, you will tame large data sets magically responding to their regulatory, compliance and internal audit inquiries. You will provide amazing support on time sensitive requests while managing expectations of internal clients.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate business requests into data queries.
• Analyze large data sets in various formats (e.g., JSON, XML, Avro) to present information to non-technical users (e.g., in Excel) along with defensible evidence
• Proactively perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
• Manage expectations and provide regular updates- frequently to senior stakeholders 
• When required, work with Development and Production Support to resolve technical issues
• Actively implement process and tooling enhancements to continuously improve our ability to respond
• Since much of your team is in the US, working hours would be approximately 11 AM – + PM IST to support collaboration and teamwork 

Your Skills And Experience
• A passion for working with large data sets using appropriate tooling (Spark, SQL, Python)
• Strong analytical capabilities and able to quickly grasp new contexts
• Broad financial market knowledge highly desirable
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail – validating result sets
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment delivering against tight deadlines
• Manages other’s expectations and meets commitments 
• Ability to communicate (written and verbal) concisely 
• Expresses opinions while supporting group decisions 
• Flexibility and willingness to work autonomously and collaboratively 
• Ability to work in virtual teams, agile environment and in matrixed organizations
