Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Database Administrator who will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and maintenance of our database systems. The ideal must have a strong background in database management and be adept at troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring data security and integrity. Experience - Min. 6 yrs relevant experience Job type - Contractual (6-12 months contract) Salary Budget - 12-18LPA Job Description: Minimum Requirements: ● DBA expertise from one of the popular RDBMS - preferably MySQL, Postgres. ● AWS experience with at least one of RDS databases - preferably MySQL Aurora, and/or Postgres. ● Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot in dynamic situations supporting mission-critical applications such as DBA. ● Experience with AWS CLI and AWS RDS. ● Standard DBA operations such as Monitoring, query optimization, cost optimization, tuning, backup/restore, and blue/green deployments. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Exposure to agile practices and working with agile software development teams. ● Availability for pager-duty on call. Good to have: ● Scripting and/or programming experience to automate standard DB tasks/operations. ● Cross-region replication in AWS and/or other cloud environments. ● Experience with data quality and data observability aspects of data management and working with the data analytics team. ● Knowledge of Percona toolkit & pg/SQL.
