Custodian | General Helper

Department of a large public sector entity has an immediate opportunity within their building maintenance and recycling area. Great opportunity for long term employment!

Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain building, tools, equipment and supplies
• Monitor and instruct custodial staff
• Monitor and assist in the recycling program
• Assisting with vehicle maintenance
• Replace light bulbs
• Routine ground maintenance such as collection of litter, pressure washing and replacing of trash bags

Qualifications And Requirements:
• Located near the highway with close access to restaurants
• Work with a company that offers continuing education and career development opportunities
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience in using a variety of repair tools effectively and safely.
• Ability to operate a nail gun with precision and efficiency, including loading and unloading nails.
• Proficiency in using both manual and electric saws for cutting wood, metal, or other materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
