Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role
We are seeking a Creative Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team on a 12-month full-time contract, based in either our Toronto, ON or Calgary, AB office. This role offers a hybrid working model.
What you’ll do here:
Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to design and produce internal and external marketing graphics for both print and digital platforms. Deliverables may include advertisements, brochures, posters, editorial layouts, web banners, website assets, social medial posts, event signage, emails, wordmarks, icons, infographics and presentations.
Work with existing templates and create designs aligned with the company’s branding guidelines.
Develop creative concepts and apply them across all visual elements for marketing campaigns.
What you bring to the table:
Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, composition, layout and branding.
Ability to maintain visual consistency within established brand guidelines.
Expertise in preparing high-quality, print-ready files and digital assets for various platforms.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to deliver tailored, on-brand solutions under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience creating motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects, Animate, and Premiere Pro; videography experience is a strong asset.
Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is considered an asset.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage projects from concept through final delivery in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.
Positive, customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong interpersonal skills; highly motivated, organized and detail oriented.
