We seek a suitably qualified and experienced leisure venue manager to lead the team in delivering an exceptional member experience at this vital community facility.
About the Club
PCYC Liverpool was established in 2005 in Miller as a place where young people and the broader community can feel safe participating in structured and non-structured activities. Since 2005, PCYC Liverpool has provided a haven for the community to get involved in such activities as Boxing, Futsal, Pickleball and Art programs.
About the Role
As a Club Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the venue, and you will be accountable for the administration, operational, financial, and program deliverables. You will inspire the team and lead the club to success. Your role will see you use your people leadership skills, financial acumen, analytical capability, and management expertise to oversee all aspects of the club. You must showcase your leading interpersonal, communication, and sales skills to drive a successful team to deliver exceptional member experiences.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Club, including staff leadership, training, program coordination, quality assurance, facilities/ asset management and execution of marketing initiatives
Execute business and operational plans to generate income growth, build customer engagement to optimise use of the facility and increase revenue streams
Increase awareness of the PCYC mission within the local community, to grow memberships and generate fundraising/ sponsorship opportunities
Develop effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, including NSW Police staff, Club Committee, venue users, local businesses and the wider community
Administrative duties including rostering, forecasting, budget management, weekly and monthly reporting on club performance, funding/ grant applications, database/ records management
Provide a child-safe environment.
Conduct scheduled WHS and operational audits.
About You
Are you a passionate person and looking to work flexible hours, as well as:
You have a minimum of 2 years of sport and leisure venue management experience
you have proven experience in business management, operation planning and/or implementing innovative business ideas
You have an eye for detail, a natural sales ability and look for any and every opportunity to grow the business
You have strong networking and relationship-building skills, establishing valuable partnerships within the local community
You have strong leadership skills
You have strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
You have a genuine care for your community and alignment with the PCYC Mission and Values
You can obtain a compliant Working with Children Check and National Police Check
