Cloud-Based Administrator

Job Title:

A cloud-based administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's Microsoft 365 environment.

Responsibilities:
• Managing user accounts, including creating new accounts, assigning licenses, security policies, and relevant access to users.
• Managing software licenses and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Supporting user devices using device management tools, such as Intune.
• Maintaining the security of the Microsoft 365 environment by configuring security settings, managing permissions, and enforcing security protocols.
• Providing support to users by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their tasks efficiently.
• Implementing and managing policies within the Microsoft 365 environment, including setting up and enforcing policies related to security, device management, and compliance.
• Regularly monitoring the Microsoft 365 environment and generating reports on usage, security incidents, and compliance status.
• Collaborating with global IT administrators to ensure seamless operation of the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Providing recommendations for improvements and efficiencies in managing the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Submitting user-reported incidents to third-party managed service providers when appropriate.
• Conducting regular reviews of user access levels to ensure alignment with employee status and job functions.
• Taking ownership of incoming and handover critical items during after-hours periods.
• Performing vulnerability and risk assessments for IT and security incidents, such as malware and phishing attacks.
• Reviewing, prioritizing, and implementing IT security improvement recommendations from Microsoft via the 365 Admin portal.
• Proficiency in Power BI reporting is a plus.
