JR1++: Class 2 Driver

Location: Newbury

Salary: £32,328 Per Annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Driver 4,6 or 8 wheel rigid vehicles delivering ready mixed concrete from company sites to customer locations.

Achieve agreed daily work targets.

Carry out daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety checks.

Complete, issue and record transaction documents as instructed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Clean Class 2 licence.

Valid CPC and digi-tacho cards.

Previous experience driving a concrete mixer or similar vehicles with transferable skills (fuel tankers etc).

Conscientious, hard-working and physically fit to carry out manual handling activities.

Able to work effectively as part of a team and recognise the importance of excellent customer service.
