Job Title :- Chapter Lead Group Security Quality Engineering and Testing Location :-Bangalore Business & Team :- Technology Team is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service. The Group Security (GS) team protects the Bank and our customers from cyber compromise, through proactive management of cyber security, privacy, and operational risk. Our team includes: • Cyber Strategy & Performance • Cyber Security Centre • Cyber Protection & Design • Cyber Delivery • Cyber Data Engineering • Identity & Access Technology The Group Security Data Engineering team provides specialised data services and platforms for the CommBank group & is accountable for developing Group’s data strategy, data policy & standards, governance and set requirements for data enablers/tools. The team is also accountable to facilitate a community of practitioners to share best practice and build data talent and capabilities. Impact & contribution :- The IAT group protects the bank and our customers from theft, loss and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk. We provide security controls and services that are leveraged across the group. The team is responsible for the stable delivery of effective security services and continuous assurance over enterprise security controls within the Bank and across its group entities. Roles & Responsibilities :- • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of functional and automation testers to achieve high-performance standards. • Test Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases that align with project goals and objectives. • Automation - Oversee the automation testing efforts, ensuring the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts for regression and functional testing. Drive testing automation initiatives to reduce the testing efforts and over all testing cycles • Quality Assurance: Set and enforce quality standards, processes, and best practices across the testing team. Perform quality assurance activities to meet compliance, standards and control guardrails. • Resource Management: Allocate testing resources effectively, including personnel and testing environments • Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks related to the testing process, making sure projects stay on track. • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless testing process. Support the prioritisation and escalation between control owners, system owners and customers. • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process, including the adoption of new tools and methodologies. • Documentation: Ensure that all test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts, are well-documented and maintained • Working with the business, risk management and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliance with Group Cyber Policies, risk standards and regulatory obligations • With a supportive management structure and a fantastic work / life balance, the CBA will, in return for your skills and passion, offer you a challenging, varied and enjoyable career and the autonomy to shine. Essential Skills :- • Must have at least 12+ years of IT experience in quality engineering stream • Good exposure to DevOps and CI/CD implementation – GitHub, GitHub Actions, Teamcity, Jenkins, Octopus. • In-depth understanding of Java/C# or any programming language and build frameworks. • Proficiency with a diverse set of tools, including Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured/Rest Sharp for API automation. • strong technical skills and knowledge base in Cyber Security systems • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and architecture to provide automated solutions to complex problems. • Experience in or exposure to non-functional testing, data driven test automation scripts and execute performance and load testing. • Exceptional Test Process knowledge and experience. • Deep Understanding of risks and controls in an Information Technology environment; • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with stakeholders effectively. Qualifications :- • Proven Experience working with Agile methodologies. • A degree in Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline • Prior experience on Banking Domain / Financial Services related projects would be an immense value add.
