The Manufacturing Division of the CFMEU is seeking an experienced membership officer to lead our small membership team and to work closely with our organisers. Situated in our Carlton based National office, this is a full time position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of a small team.
Communication with members and employers.
Resolving enquiries and identifying potential issues.
Maintain member database.
Receipting and processing of dues.
Preparation of member data reports.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Proficiency and experience with iMIS software and the ability to enhance its effectiveness to assist our organizing team.
A demonstrated commitment to trade union principles.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft suite including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Capacity to lead retention discussions with members.
Ability to work autonomously and achieve results with your team.
High accuracy data processing.
Experience prioritising workloads.
Demonstrated experience leading a small team.
CONDITIONS
Full time, 38 hours per week.
13 RDOs per annum.
15% Superannuation.
5 weeks annual leave including Christmas shutdown.
