Trident Consulting is seeking a Cassandra Database Admin for one of our direct client in India - Remote A global leader in business and technology services
Job Description
Position: Cassandra Database Admin
Location: India - Remote
Hire: Fulltime
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and manage data on Cassandra cluster
End-to-end performance tuning of Cassandra clusters
Installation and configuration in AWS Cloud
Software patches and upgrades
Capacity planning
Migration from Oracle
Cassandra connectivity and Security in AWS
Monitoring
Troubleshooting
Data Modeling, design & implementation
Establishing and driving standards within the team
Conducting Cassandra training
Providing guidance to less experienced DBAs and the Dev team
Required Skills:
Cassandra data modeling, hands on experience, with 2-3 live projects.
Cassandra capacity planning, installation and deployment in AWS. Oracle data modeling and administration.
Dynamo DB experience is a plus.
Must have 5+ years of DBA experience
Must have 2+ years of NoSQL DBA experience
