Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist store customers in selecting and purchasing items
Operate and maintain a cash register, collecting monies, counting change, and preparing receipts
Balance the cash register drawer and print routine register print-outs
Prepare and deliver bank deposits
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays
Secure merchandise and the cash register area
Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience working in a retail store preferred
Knowledge of effective customer service techniques and basic mathematics principles
Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Working Conditions:

The work is performed in a normal store environment with little to no physical discomfort associated with weather changes.
