Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients, particularly seniors and those with disabilities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive and personalized care.

Duties

Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Assist with mobility and physical exercises to promote physical health.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Document patient care activities accurately and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
Provide specialized care for clients with specific needs such as dementia care or hospice care when required.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
Experience

Previous experience in home care, senior care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
Familiarity with medication administration and patient care protocols is highly desirable.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring specialized care is a plus.
Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their families.
Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and understanding while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
