Job description
Job Title : TGT (Social Science)

Location : Lucknow

Key Responsibilities :

Curriculum Planning and Implementation :
• Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Design engaging and interactive teaching materials to facilitate effective learning.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.

Classroom Management :
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in class activities.

Assessment and Evaluation :
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance.

Student Development :
• Foster intellectual, emotional, and social development of students.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills.
• Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal growth.

Professional Development :
• Stay updated on the latest developments on your subject.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

School Activities :
• Actively participate in school events, committees, and extracurricular activities.
• Support the school's vision and mission in all aspects of teaching and learning.

Qualifications :

Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, international studies, global affairs, or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience :
• Previous teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
• Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and examination patterns.

We are on the hunt for a warm-hearted Career Counsellor to be the guiding star for our vibrant

student community, spanning both our school and college divisions.

Here is what you would be up to:

1. Chit-chat sessions: Dive into friendly one-on-one chats with students, understanding

their dreams, passions, and what makes them tick.

2. Playing detective: Use cool career assessment tools to help students discover their

strengths, interests, and the world of opportunities out there.

3. Being the go-to guru: Keep students in the loop about all the fab career paths out there,

and what our institution offers.

4. Inspire on the go: Got some pep talks up your sleeve? We would love for you to share,

motivate, and uplift our students with your words of wisdom.

5. Teamwork makes the dream work: Team up with our academic advisors to make sure

our students’ academic and career dreams are in sync.

6. Keep those memories: Jot down notes about your chats with students, the dreams they

share, and the guidance you offer.

Here is what we are hoping you bring to the table:
• A degree in Counselling, Education, or something similar. If you have got a Master
• degree, that is a cherry on top!
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in career counselling, with exposure to both
• school and college environments being an advantage.
• A knack for chit-chat, with a listening ear and some inspiring words to share.
• Curiosity about career trends and pathways. We love a good trend-spotter!
• A friend-making (aka networking) spirit.
• A clear background check and any other bits and bobs our institution or state might
• ask for.
