Responsibilities :

· Identifying new business opportunities: A Business Development Manager is responsible for researching and identifying potential new markets and business opportunities for the company.

· Developing and implementing business strategies: Once new opportunities have been identified, a Business Development Manager develops and implements strategies to capitalize on them.

· Building and maintaining relationships: A Business Development Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, such as architects, interior designers, and contractors, to foster long-term business growth.

· Analyzing market trends and competition.

· Collaborating with other departments: A Business Development Manager collaborates with other departments, such as sales and product development, to ensure that business strategies are aligned with company goals.

· Negotiating contracts and deals: A Business Development Manager negotiates contracts and deals with clients and partners to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.

· Meeting sales targets: A Business Development Manager sets and meets sales targets to ensure revenue growth and profitability.

· Managing budgets and resources: A Business Development Manager is responsible for managing budgets and resources to ensure that business strategies are executed effectively.

· Developing and maintaining product knowledge: A Business Development Manager should have a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the industry in general, to effectively promote and sell the company's products to clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is often required. Some employers may also require an MBA or other advanced degree.

· Experience: Employers may require several years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related field. Some companies may require experience specific to the industry they operate in.
