Job description
Io Tech World Avigation Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon is a drone manufacturing company () and is seeking a passionate and skilled BLDC Motor Design & Development Engineer to join our team in building next-generation electric motor solutions. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of Brushless DC (BLDC) motors—from concept design and electromagnetic modelling to prototyping, testing, and validation.

Key Responsibilities : •

-Minimum 7 Years experience in Design and optimize BLDC motors for various applications (e.g., EVs, drones, robotics, HVAC, industrial automation).
-Perform electromagnetic simulations using tools like Ansys Motor-CAD, Maxwell, JMAG, or Flux.
-coordinate with other team members on mechanical aspects of motor design—stator/rotor topology, lamination, housing, cooling systems, etc.
- Participate in prototyping, testing (no-load, load, efficiency, thermal), and validation of motor systems.
- Prepare design documentation, BOMs, and test reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, manufacturing, and quality.
- Support troubleshooting and improvement of existing motor designs in the field.
Requirements :
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics.
-Hands-on experience with BLDC / PMSM motor design and electromagnetic simulation.
- Proficient with simulation tools such as Ansys Motor-CAD, Maxwell, JMAG, or similar.
- Knowledge of motor winding configurations, magnetic materials, and thermal management.
- Basic understanding of motor control (FOC, trapezoidal, sinusoidal).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with industry standards for electric motors.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes for motor components.
