Introduction:
• Work very closely with the SWIFT Test Lead to maintain the quality check on all the deliveries to meet complex testing needs of various projects.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining automation across applications to cater more deliveries and create capacity within Testing Tower
• Drive Tech Transformation agendas in Quality Engineering
What will you be doing?
Relevant Experience 4 to 7 years
Time Split: 80% Project Delivery, 20% Non-Core Delivery (including Transformation tasks)
• Self-driven, Innovative.
• Works complex Payments testing assignments.
• Manage and perform automation testing for systems and applications to ensure it exceeds specified standards End-user requirements.
• Have heavy focus on getting the team to Automation end state.
• Create and review of Designs, test plans, test strategies, test cases and scripts.
• Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
• Analyzes requirements and design aspects of projects.
• Liaise and engage landscape teams for End to End tests and other support teams
• Raising and managing the RAIDs at appropriate level.
• Very good at Stakeholder management
• Mentor for junior members of the team.
• Makes evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information in complicated and novel situations.
• Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
What we're looking for:
Knowledge / experience :
Mandatory:
• Techno-functional full stack testing exposure to Payments projects.
• Excellent exposure of managing and creating Automation frameworks.
• Exposure to UFT, Mainframe / Unix / Linux , SQL, Java, Selenium.
• Good Exposure to SWIFT MT messages and XML messages.
• Exposure to Functional, Integration, OAT testing.
• Exposure of stakeholder management.
• Team lead capabilities.
• Hands on experience in UFT automation, implementing innovative ideas.
Nice to have:
• Experience of NFT testing.
• Testing experience for E2E applications/ message flows for payments processing.
• Dev-Ops
• Environment management skills
Experience:
Mandatory:
• Experience of analysing project documentation to extract requirements, system functions and other features to be tested
• Experience of creating automation frameworks using UFT and Selenium.
• Experience of using test management tools ( Jira / Agile Central ) to manage testing activity and to provide testing metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and pragmatic approach to changes on projects
• Experience of SWIFT payment applications like GPP, Gateways, Sanctions.
Nice to have:
• Extensive experience of testing large scale, complex integration Programs/Projects
• Technical testing background desirable
Domain Experience:
Nice to have:
• Experience of the financial sector, with in depth understanding of Payments and Payment Gateway
• Swift experience along with different transactions including cross border payments
• Experience with various MT and XML messaging formats
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Formal testing qualifications
• Any Degree, preferably in computer science
• Experience of the BFSI domain test automation.
