Job Description

The Assistant to the Service Delivery Manager provides high-level administrative, operational, and coordination support to ensure efficient delivery of allied health services. This role plays a key part in supporting clinical teams, enhancing service quality, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Support

Assist the Service Delivery Manager in day-to-day service coordination and operations
Monitor workflows, caseload distribution, and service delivery metrics
Support implementation of service improvements and operational initiatives
2. Clinical Administration Support

Coordinate clinician schedules, appointments, and resource allocation
Assist with onboarding of new clinicians and students
Maintain accurate clinical documentation systems and records
Liaise with clinicians regarding service delivery requirements
3. Quality & Compliance

Support compliance with relevant standards (e.g., NDIS, AHPRA, accreditation bodies)
Assist in audits, file reviews, and quality assurance processes
Monitor documentation completeness and adherence to clinical protocols
Track incident reports and follow-up actions
4. Stakeholder Coordination

Act as a point of contact between clinicians, admin staff, and management
Liaise with clients, families, and external providers as required
Support communication across multidisciplinary teams
Key Selection Criteria

Essential

Experience in administration or coordination within healthcare or allied health
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements in healthcare
Desirable

Experience with NDIS or similar funding models
Knowledge of allied health service delivery frameworks
Experience supporting clinical teams
Familiarity with compliance and accreditation processes
Work Environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
