About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to lead our Colorstone Certification Lab. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and authenticity of our gemstone collection.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the Colorstone Certification Lab.
• Ensure compliance with all lab protocols and Tanishq standards.
• Identify and authenticate gemstone species, varieties, enhancements, and treatments.
• Conduct advanced spectrometry analysis on gemstones.
• Train and mentor team members on new treatments and enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and After Sale Services.
• Maintain accurate and detailed lab reports.
• Implement process audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
• Gemstone Diploma/Graduate/Masters in Gem Identification
• FGA/GG certification is desirable
• 8-10 years of experience in gemstone identification and analysis
• Advanced spectrometry skills in gemstone analysis
• Hands-on expertise in diamond/polki/chakri will be an added advantage
• Strong people management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP/Oracle applications
