Kirimana is recruiting for Aluminium Fabricators/Installers to join our team on a range of exciting projects across Northland.
We are looking to employ several skilled installers to work alongside our experienced trades teams. These roles require reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious individuals. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include:
Read drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and installation procedures
Select, clean, and prepare aluminium materials for each job, with a sound understanding of different sheet metal types
Shape and bend aluminium sections using appropriate tools and machinery
Align and join components accurately using the correct mechanical fixings, bolts, and rivets
Ensure cost-effective use of materials and follow standard procedures for manufacturing and installation
Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
Maintain tidy and safe work areas in line with OSH housekeeping standards
Carry out other duties as requested by supervisors
We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. You’ll need to communicate effectively with your supervisor, take ownership of your responsibilities, and contribute positively to the team environment.
Minimum Experience Required:
At least 3 years of experience or a trade qualification (or higher) in a similar role as an aluminium fabricator or installer. You must be able to provide references to support your work history.
Pay & Conditions:
Hourly rate: $25 – $30 (waged)
Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours depending on project requirements
Workdays: Monday to Saturday
Locations: Roles available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago, Tasman, Southland, Marlborough and West Coast.
For those willing to travel between regions, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.
