Account & Admin Assistant’s Role & Responsibilities
Office assistant shall provide account & administrative support, undertaking tasks such as filing, typing, making phone calls, handling mail, creating correspondence, prepare reports, organize files, preparing invoices and basic bookkeeping. He/she shall serve as an initial point of contact, answering phones and greeting visitors. He/she shall help to maintain the office and keep it running smoothly and also deal with customers and external agencies.
He/she has to deal with other people from a wide variety of levels, from clients to management and even corporate CEOs.
Duties :
· Digitization or verification of DPR (generated from site) for all sites as per prescribed format and categorization.
· Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
· Working with spreadsheets, sales, purchase ledgers and journals.
· Preparing statutory accounts and maintaining accounts in Tally & Excel as per company norms.
· Maintaining Bank Book/Pass Book, Cash Book, Inward Register, Outward Register on daily basis / as it happens basis.
· Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
· Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
· Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post / mails and answering any queries.
· To maintain as per company norms, record of all vendor, labour, suppliers, agencies, contractors, employees : Name, Address, contact detail, DoB, Bank Detail, PAN, Aadhar, Photo etc.,
· Managing petty cash transactions. To check and verify petty cash for each site / employee
· To keep a record of employee account
· To keep a record and verify employees’ presence at work, Monthly muster rolls and pay abstract.
· Dealing with bank and other account and administrative works
Qualitative and Other Attributes Required:
Accounting knowledge
Good communication, writing & management skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
General computer, MS office & Tally
Ability to learn and improve constantly
Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
Salary: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
