Accounting Manager

Job description
PE backed SaaS company is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their growing team. This is a diverse role that will have involvement with both the operational and technical side of accounting. The Accounting Manager will handle GL close, journal entries, stock compensation, global consolidations, treasury, and controls. We are targeting candidates with 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years spent in public accounting. CPA is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close
• Prepare quarterly and yearly financial reporting packages
• Assist with technical accounting research and implementation (i.e. stock compensation, revenue recognition, etc.)
• Ensure controls are in compliance with industry and company standards
• Support treasury operations, Payroll, and intercompany transactions
• Other ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience
• Public accounting is required, CPA is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
