About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology and will play a key role in the development and implementation of BIM processes for various architectural, engineering, and construction projects. This position requires both technical expertise in BIM software and an understanding of architectural design and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models in collaboration with project teams.
• Ensure the proper integration of architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) elements into the BIM environment.
• Manage model data and documentation across project phases to meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, and contractors) to resolve issues and improve design coordination.
• Conduct regular model reviews and coordination meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Assist in resolving clashes and conflicts within the BIM models using clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks).
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including model drawings, schedules, and reports. Regularly update project stakeholders on progress and changes.
• Utilize BIM software (such as Revit, AutoCAD) to create, modify, and update project models.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures for BIM models to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Architecture, or related field
• Proven experience in BIM coordination and management, with at least 3 years working as a BIM Architect or similar role
• Expertise in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD; familiarity with other software like BIM 360, ArchiCAD, and Rhino is a plus
• Strong understanding of architectural design and construction processes
• Experience in creating and managing 3D models, as well as integrating with other disciplines (MEP, structural, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Knowledge of BIM standards, guidelines, and industry best practices (ISO 19650, etc.)
